Whistlin' - The NC State Jazz Combo on CD


Whistlin' is a project of the NC State Jazz Combo, an ensemble course taught in the Department of Music. The album features nine original tunes written by students in the combo and by Director of Jazz Studies Wes Parker, plus two covers. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Dick Hodgin at Osceola Studios in Raleigh on May 5-6, 2018. Produced by the NC State University Department of Music and its jazz faculty, teaching professor Wes Parker and applied lecturer Jason Foureman. Released Dec. 2019.
